She’s published four books, edited two others, and is now pushing to release her fifth novel, a fictional biography of the very real Mary Brewster, wife of the more famous Mayflower passenger, Elder William Brewster. She teaches workshops on journaling and writing one’s personal memoirs, and enjoys speaking in person or via zoom and podcasts about writing, the amazing history behind the Mayflower voyage, and other topics that catch her elusive attention. She began her writing career with a degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and later earned a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary. She worked in public relations for Bowling Green and the Defiance College before launching a freelance writing career while raising children. After doing more public relations work for an outdoor drama, she spent thirty-five years in church leadership. She is now retired and again asking editors to publish her work. She blogs weekly about interesting people doing amazing things in our global village.
